What times the next coffee break? Is that what they think when they sit down at your conference in the morning? Not when you kick start the day with an energiser it’s not!

Here are 4 of our favourites.

Boomwhackers, Drumming and The Haka
In these fun energisers everybody gets to be part of a unique team performance. Boomwhackers are the plastic tubes you can see pictured on the right – each one is tuned so that when you ‘whack’ it, it makes a musical note. Creating a tune together in a way that seems impossible at first is truly unifying.

Human Bingo
A dead simple concept – just like Bingo, but players have to collect signatures instead of numbers. Within seconds this energiser has the group mingling and asking each other questions they thought they’d never ask! The winner is the first one to find somebody who can ‘sign off’ each of the ‘experiences’ listed on their card. For example: Find somebody who has ridden an elephant, had twins or shaken hands with royalty, to name a few.

Speed Dating
Speed Dating gives the edge to small focus sessions at your conference by adding a bit of fun and the right balance of inclusive discussion. Each session is a fast and furious opportunity to discuss a particular topic which is projected on to a screen. The debate is fuelled by the facilitator.

Mexican Railway
Just like a Mexican Wave, this energiser literally sends a ripple of energy through the whole team. Each individual is provided with a segment of railway track that will link up with people either side of them. When the construction is ready a ball races down the track. Mexican Railway can be themed to your conference message.
