Daventry Country Park

Daventry Country Park is a popular Green Flag Award winning park ideally situated in the urban fringe of Daventry within 1 mile of the town centre easily accessible by car and with the benefit of cycle ways and footpaths from the residential areas. It is centred on the old Daventry Reservoir which is one of two reservoirs in Daventry, the other being Drayton Reservoir. The Country Park has an attractive setting, the irregular shape of the reservoir, the undulating nature of the scenery and presence of mature trees give the appearance of a natural lake. There are pleasant views both of the surrounding countryside and to the town centre are seen from many points on the banks.
