As you arrive up the long driveway, you couldn’t ask for a more magical setting in which to celebrate your special day. Situated in 17 acres of Surrey countryside, Gorse Hill is a beautiful manor house with a quintessentially English charm.
Built in 1912, Gorse Hill was once home to a number of colourful Edwardian characters, many of whom made their fortunes in transport. But despite its busy past, this hidden gem is now a relaxed and intimate haven.
Whether you’d like the manor house and its grounds for the reception, ceremony or both, we’ll make sure your wedding lives up to your dreams. And our experienced team will help you plan every detail to perfection, from the dining to the first dance.
Gorse Hill was designed with space and flexibility in mind. Today, retaining its original character and charm, we have a variety of rooms to accommodate intimate gatherings and larger celebrations for a maximum of 80 of your guests.
Outside, the stunning grounds make a beautiful setting for your photographs. While you capture the moment, we’ll host your drinks reception and keep the conversation flowing with a refreshing choice of drinks and delectable canapés.
Gorse Hill is all about exceptional produce, farm-fresh ingredients and flexible options. Our head chef is looking forward to meeting with you to talk through your ideas and will advise on how best to put together our delicious menu options to delight every guest.
No meal would be complete without excellent wines and Champagne and we offer some of the finest vintages from around the world.
The memories needn’t end with the last dance. As the party winds down, retire to your bridal suite and recline in style. Here, we’ve combined original features with modern touches. We have 50 spacious en-suite bedrooms for your family and friends and after a long lie-in you can all meet up and re-live those memories over breakfast.
