By Car

We would advise using a route planner or sat nav to get to Nendaz itself, using 'Route de la Telecabine 45, Haute-Nendaz, Switzerland' as your destination.

When you reach Sion, exit the Motorway A9 at 'Sion Ouest' and carry along the main road towards Nendaz for approximately 15km.

You will then reach the roundabout at Nendaz-Station, where you will turn left onto Route de la Telecabine toward 'Telecabine'.

Approximately 300m along on your left you will find Hôtel Le Déserteur.

By Rail

There is a railway station in nearby Sion, which makes rail links to Nendaz from all over Europe simple. 

Plan your journey and purchase your tickets in advance online from SBB, the Swiss rail company. 

From Sion railway station, you can catch bus no. 6 in front of the station to Haute-Nendaz. Ask for the bus stop 'Le Déserteur'. Look out for special offers on Family Tickets or a Swiss Transfer Ticket which is an economic way of getting from any airport to Nendaz and back.

By Air

Nendaz is so close to Sion airport that you can see it perched on the mountainside when you step off the plane. From the airport, we are a short bus or car journey away. There is a free shuttle bus from the airport to the bus station.

Basel (3 hrs away)
Milan (2hrs 30mins away)
