As you arrive through the ornate wrought-iron gates, New Place never fails to impress. This grade I listed house is a true masterpiece of brickwork: a home that combines Tudor and Elizabethan eccentricities with subtle, modern touches.

Fittingly, the home was commissioned as a wedding gift, designed and built by the famous British architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens. He merged the interior of an existing 17th century mansion with his own signature style. The results are nothing short of spectacular.

To this day, the mansion remains a place of breathtaking beauty and historic grandeur, but also warmth and personality. Whether it’s your reception, your ceremony or both, we’ll make sure your day is as individual, exciting and memorable as you have always dreamed

• We offer comprehensive packages all of which include the following: White Table Linen, Dance Floor, Hire of Cake Stand and Cake Knife, Complimentary Accommodation for Bride and Groom, Master of Ceremonies - our Function Manager and more.
• Our menus are only limited by your imagination as our Chef Mark Grieveson would be happy to discuss your ideas.
• The Bristol Room within the Manor House is licensed to hold civil marriage ceremonies for up to 75. The Arden Suite is located behind the house and is a separate building licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 108 people
• Although we don’t have spa facilities on site, we are in close proximity to Baytree Beauty salon, which comes highly recommended and can offer the Bridal party some essential pampering for the big day.

The Manor House
Due to some exciting changes happening at De Vere New Place, your wedding breakfast & evening reception will take place in our fully redesigned Arden suite offering the ideal location for friends and family to join you in your celebrations

The Arden Suite
This fabulous newly refurbished suite will seat up to 110 guests and benefits from its very own Italian style terrace overlooking the Manor House making it an exquisite function suite to celebrate your day. The Suite is fully licensed for Civil Ceremonies and can be dressed to fulfil any dream wedding.

All in one venue – The ceremony and reception
The Bristol Room & the Dining Room within the Manor House are licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 75 in the Bristol room & 90 in the Dining room. The fully redesigned Arden Suite is located behind the house and is a separate building licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 110 people.
